Alliance is a traditional nature friendly family run Home Stay / Guest House with an authentic Indo-French touch. It is located at an altitude of 1800 m in the heart of Naggar. It is surrounded by huge deodar trees and captivating Himalayan mountain peaks. We welcome all our guests with warmth and believe in cherishing moments which later on becomes unforgettable memories.
Alliance is only 500 meters away from The Naggar Castle built in 16th century and International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT) known as Nicolas Roerich’s place a Russian painter, writer, explorer, archaeologist, theosophist and philosopher who established the Roerich estate in early 20th century. Naggar is an ancient town and was once the capital of Kullu kingdom.

Veyrard Gilbert, a French traveler & explorer discovered the beautiful valley of Kullu in 1978 and Naggar in 1980. After travelling to so many countries finally knew that this was the place he wanted to live in. First fallen in love with the place and soon after met his soul mate Hira, a native of Naggar village. They both decided to get married and begin a new life.
Having the idea of contributing to the society and doing meaningful tasks in the year between 1982-92, they created ‘ The Destitute People Welfare Society to alleviate various social and economical problems ( food, clothing & shelter ) in the valley of Kullu. They also developed a collective farming project (agriculture & livestock) to produce wool connected to a handicraft group in order to promote and strengthen Kulluvi/himachali Handicraft sector. Due to tourism development in the region and desire of being a part of hospitality sector, decided to officially open Alliance Guest House in 1992. Alliance welcomed more than 5000 visitors during the period of 1992-2002. Due to the increasing demand launged home stay project along with a multipurpose Nataraja Hall under Himachal Home Stay Scheme in April 2010. Eva, one of the daughter continuous the family business with the vision of taking it to the next level with all love, hard work & enthusiasm.
